For the vibes: The Belfry | 222 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003

Karly’s old stomping grounds! From a regular while living in Stuytown, to a server on the staff for over a year, to telling Jake Hebert she loved him for the first time - the Belfry has always been very special to Karly. Owner Michael Bailey has put so much thought and consideration into his bar - we beg you to find a more perfect East Village spot.

The Belfry is drinks only, serving outrageously divine cocktails, a large selection of NYS beers, and most famously their housemade pickles & pickleback shots! Try Karly’s favorite (the Piñaback) for a pickleback unlike any other.

The bar’s sister restaurant, Ferns, sadly closed in February. We already miss the cozy, quaint ambiance, their delicious cocktails, their burgers and most of all their brunch featuring an outrageous fried chicken biscuit and their housemade donuts of the day!
